120cm x 60cm - 7 layers of resin with mixed media on birch wood panel frame. The sides are left natural wood. With over 4 weeks to complete, the edges have been sanded on every layer to produce a bevelled edge, the lower wave layers are slightly raised to create an effect of standing on the actual beach. I visited Wine Glass Bay a few years ago with my family and was blown away with the natural beauty of the bay, and I wanted to capture this in my painting.
